Lichao Sun is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Lehigh University and an Adjunct Professor at Mayo Clinic. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Philip S. Yu.

He has extensive research experience in industrial labs including Microsoft Research, Salesforce Research, Samsung Research America, Amazon Web Services, and LinkedIn.

Awards: 2024 OpenAI Researcher Access Program Award, 2024 Microsoft Accelerate Foundation Models Research Award, 2023 SIGIR Best Paper Honorable Mention, NSF CRII Award.
